Now Offering a New Service to Improve Flexibility!

WHAT IS THIS SERVICE?

This service is designed to help you:

  • improve posture,

  • performance, and

  • alleviate pain symptoms.

Each client is given some form of posture and biomechanical assessment to determine where their body is at currently and the right treatment plan going forward. Corrective exercises, stretches, mobilizations and massage will be used as needed to correct imbalances in the body contributing to many pain conditions, decreased athletic performance and posture.

WHO AND WHAT DOES IT HELP?

Corrective exercise, mobilizations, and stretches have been shown to be effective in:

  • Improving athletic performance,

  • Posture,

  • Chronic joint pain

  • Balance and gait disorders

  • TMJD

  • Sciatica/piriformis syndrome

  • Foot issues (such as plantar fasciitis, bunions, and hammer toe)

  • Spinal conditions such as scoliosis, spondylosis, spondylolisthesis, and others

  • Rehabilitation of many orthopedic injuries such as

    • ACL and meniscus tears,

    • joint subluxations/dislocations,

    • disc herniations,

    • spinal cord injuries, etc.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING A SESSION?

In a 25 minute session you should expect to be safely guided through various

corrective stretches, exercises, mobilizations

and given a short program to do at home. You can expect to be given some form of postural or biomechanical assessment to determine what is going on in your body. The extent of the assessment and programming is based on the condition and time allowance for each session.

In a 50 minute session, expect to be given a more in depth posture and biomechanics assessment to provide a roadmap for your body and determine the best route for treatment. In subsequent sessions, these will likely be done only as necessary. You'll be led through exercises, stretches, mobilizations and given written programs to complete at home. You may also be treated using neurosomatic therapy (corrective massage) in order to restore function to soft tissues that are in need of work.

WHAT TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE DO YOUR PRACTITIONERS HAVE?

ZACH CLINE, LMT, CNS, HLS   I've had training/education as an Exercise Coach with the CHEK Institute and as a Neurosomatic Therapist with the Center for Neurosomatic Studies. During my career I've worked with clients having many of the conditions listed above utilizing these techniques to help reduce or eliminate their issues.

IS THIS SAFE AND EFFECTIVE?

Most of the exercises used with the body weight only, and are not only very safe, but effective. There are few weighted exercises and no axial loading (weight on the spine). Programs including mobilizations, exercises and stretches are designed to correct length-tension relationships in the body and safely bring the patient into balance and stability. In doing so, various forces as a result of imbalances in the body (such as shear, torque, compression on joints, ligaments, etc) will be alleviated and lead to improvement in pain and performance conditions.
